Veterinarian graduated from the Methodist University of São Paulo. She has a Master's degree in Animal Reproduction from FMVZ-USP and a postgraduate degree from the Animalia Institution in the Medical and Surgical Clinic for Wild and Exotic Animals. She worked as a technician in the Fauna Department of the São Paulo State Department of Infrastructure and the Environment from 2014 to 2021, as a member of ABEMA's Conservation Subgroup, and is a member of the Advisory Groups of the National Action Plan for the Conservation of Birds of the Atlantic Forest (PAN Aves da Mata Atlântica) and PAN Pequenos Felinos.

Carolina Lorieri Vanin

CEO and Founder

Biologist graduated from Mackenzie Presbyterian University. She has worked in research at IB-USP in the bird genetics sector and at IQ-USP with cancer cells, with FAPESP support. She has worked in the fauna sector at IBAMA and has 17 years' experience in environmental consultancy, where she has coordinated various projects for the rescue, rehabilitation, release and monitoring of wild animals, setting up native seedling nurseries, meliponariums and recovery projects for degraded areas.

Celina Yoshihara

CFO and Technical Director

Biologist graduated from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). She has a degree in Communication and Oratory from the Eduque-se Group. Throughout her career she has focused her studies on Herpetofauna and Ornithofauna. She is now a member of the board of directors of the OrnitoWomen Network. Since 2017, when she founded the startup Bio Educação Digital, she has been working with science communication focused on biodiversity conservation. In addition, she is responsible for the Communication WG of the National Center for Reptile and Amphibian Research and Conservation (RAN/ICMBio), coordinator of actions in the Northeastern Herpetofauna PAN and the Southeastern Herpetofauna PAN, as well as developing content production for the Territorial Action Plans (PAT) on which Conservare advises. She has experience in wildlife management, fauna surveys, strategic planning, facilitating and drawing up Action Plans and team management.

Beatriz Morais

Communications and Marketing Manager

Geographer with a degree from the University of Campinas (Unicamp). She is also an environmental technician. She worked for the São Paulo State Department of the Environment while still an undergraduate, where she acquired knowledge that served as the basis for her work in environmental consultancy. Today she is Conservare's focal point for Territorial Action Plans, guiding and coordinating our team of advisors. He has experience in facilitating, organizing and developing monitoring workshops, data management and experience in licensing wildlife enterprises.

Camila Freitas

Technical advisor specializing in Action Plans

An architect with a degree from Unesp Bauru, she has experience in the areas of land use and landscape architecture. She is the first person in her family to enter higher education. She worked at Unesp Bauru's Model Office of Architecture and Urbanism, collecting data for the land regularization of the Ferradura Mirim settlement with COHAB Bauru. She was also part of a study group specializing in the Cities Statute. Her final undergraduate work was nominated to represent UNESP Bauru in the National Landscape Architecture Competition and dealt with the urban and environmental recovery of an APP in line with municipal, state and federal legislation.

Alessandra Pereira de Aguiar

Administrative Assistant

Veterinary doctor, graduated from Universidade Paulista. She holds a master's and doctorate in science from FMVZ/USP, with an emphasis on poultry pathology and reproduction. She underwent technical training in avian medicine at Al Wabra Wildlife Preservation, Qatar; Centro Servizi Veterinari Valcurone, Italy, Tierarztliche Praxis Dr Burkle/Dr Britsch, Germany and Professional Practice at the FMVZ/USP Bird Clinic. She was a consultant member of the Macaw and Hyacinth Macaw Recovery Programs and has experience in breeding care and avian medicine. She is also currently a health analyst working in epidemiological surveillance at the São Paulo City Health Department.
